Pull out just the pages you need — the signature page, a single chapter, the receipt buried in a 200-page statement — and receive them as a new document.
Extraction is the polite version of splitting: you keep the original intact and produce a smaller document containing only the selection. It is the right tool when you are forwarding part of a report to a colleague who does not need the rest, or when a form asks for one specific page of a longer file.
Use ranges and lists: 2, 1-3, 1,5-6,10. The pages appear in the output in the order you list them, which is also a quick way to reorder a handful of pages without the full Organize tool.
Internal links pointing to pages that were not extracted cannot resolve any more; expect them to be dropped rather than broken. External web links are unaffected.
Yes — the original is not modified on our side, and you keep your own copy.
Each page appears once per mention in your list, so a repeated number gives a repeated page.
Annotations attached to the extracted pages travel with them.
